Licox Brain Oxygen Monitor
The Integra Licox® PtO2 Monitor measures oxygen partial pressure (PtO2) and temperature in brain tissue.
These parameters help to determine the perfusion level of the brain tissue locally according to the sensor location.
Device Features:. Stores 5 days of trend information
. 7-inch touch screen
. The last 5 days' trend information can be exported thanks to the USB output.
. Built-in rechargeable battery powers the device for up to 3 hours
. Has visual and audible alarm
. Can be fixed on the IV pole or stand on its own body
Probes:The Linux oxygen monitor works in conjunction with the oxygen and temperature measurement sensors. In oxygen partial pressure measurement, the temperature of the brain must be known. The intracranial temperature can be measured manually by taking 1 degree above body temperature, or it can be determined by using a temperature measurement probe for the brain. If a temp probe is used, temperature measurements can be made in real-time and continuously.
Oxygen and temperature probes can be used alone or combined in the same probe. In this respect, there are 3 different types of probes in terms of measurement features.
